Latitude Mediation, LLC - Our Story

Our Story

At Latitude Mediation, LLC, we believe that most family disputes are not rooted in a desire to fight - they are rooted in life's challenges, transitions, and the emotions that come with them. Your concerns matter, and we’re here to help you navigate your path to resolution - ensuring you feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.

For more than 25 years, Patti has worked alongside children, couples, and families as they navigated some of life's most difficult moments. Through her extensive background in counseling, family therapy and conflict resolution, she has seen firsthand how communication breakdowns, financial stress, parenting disagreements, custody concerns, time-sharing challenges, and major life transitions can impact families. As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, Patti brings not only professional expertise, but also compassion, patience, and the ability to guide productive conversations. Her experience has equipped her with the tools to help families move beyond conflict and toward practical, lasting solutions. Today, Patti helps Florida couples and families navigate divorce, separation, parenting plans, time-sharing, child support, and co-parenting matters through family mediation.

Nicole's journey to family mediation comes from a different, but equally personal perspective. As a United States Air Force veteran, former military spouse, and someone who has personally experienced divorce and family transitions, Nicole understands the resilience required when life takes an unexpected turn. Throughout years of military life, she witnessed the unique challenges that service members, spouses, and military families face - from deployments and relocations to the strain that distance, uncertainty, and changing family dynamics can create. She also understands that family challenges are not unique to military families; they affect people from every background and walk of life. Today, Nicole serves as the Client Relations & Operations Director for Latitude Mediation, supporting couples and families as they navigate difficult transitions and work toward resolution.

Together, Patti and Nicole founded Latitude Mediation because they recognized a common reality: many Florida families simply don't know that family mediation is an option.

Too often, families assume that litigation is their only path forward. Yet mediation offers a confidential, structured, and solution-focused process that allows individuals to remain actively involved in decisions that affect their lives and the lives of their children. Research consistently shows that family mediation is highly effective in helping participants reach meaningful agreements while reducing the financial and emotional costs often associated with prolonged court battles.

Latitude Mediation, LLC was founded on the belief that families deserve access to a process that is respectful, affordable, and focused on resolution rather than conflict.

Our mission is simple: to help Florida couples and families navigate difficult conversations, explore practical solutions, and move forward with confidence, dignity, and hope.

Because when families are given the right tools, guidance, and opportunity to be heard, resolution becomes possible.

Your Family. Your Decisions. Your Path to Resolution.
